UPDATE TO SEPTEMBER 30, 2022 EMAIL TO COMMUNITY FROM DIRECTOR ARTHUR:
Date: October 3, 2022
From: Arthur Andelson, Director, CLRA, Inc.
To: Members of the community
Here is the Agenda Item and Motion which I have emailed to my fellow equal Board members for inclusion on the next Board meeting agenda (October 19, 2022) and let's see if they hijack it as they did previously with another Agenda Item I had placed on a previous Agenda:
Agenda Item: Shutters: Homeowner’s Discretion In Emergencies – Arthur Andelson
Motion: Motion to Amend Rules & Regs Sections 2(a)(iii) and (iv): The following sentences replace Rules & Regs Sections 2(a)(iii) and (iv) on page 4-2 of the governing documents and are combined as one section, to wit, Section 2(a)(iii):
“Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary herein, if a state of emergency dealing with weather conditions has been declared for Palm Beach County by either state or local officials, shutters may be put up, hung, installed, employed, and/or closed at the homeowner’s discretion. Shutters shall be reopened and/or removed no later than 72 hours after the end of the declared emergency.”
